I’m a Kiwi in my 50’s and welcome to Blog the Globe – a blog designed for ‘adventure driven baby boomers’ who have time, a little dosh and are looking for fun and inspiring destinations.

I’m a passionate traveller and always have been.

With a grown up family I now have the time and love nothing more than when I’m planning a trip or better still I’m on my way.

I embarked on this new career about five years ago when I went back to university and did my post-grad in journalism. I now freelance for a number of publications and blog.
