What’s a canton?
In my post about the Swiss Travel System yesterday, I referred to “cantons” and have had several readers ask, what are they or was it a spelling mistake? It’s a very familiar term used in Switzerland to describe a region or an ‘administrative subdivision” creating districts within the country.
