Morrinsville Street Art

March 13, 2017

In the heart of the Waikato diary country, the Morrinsville community take their cows seriously and have created a ‘Herd of Cows,” 42 life-size sculptures dotted around the rural town, providing colour and outstanding street art.

Combining art with the backbone of the community, each cow has been decorated by a New Zealand artist, with a sponsor making the project feasible.

If you are in the Waikato region, don’t miss out on this impressive street art collection and learn a little about Morrinsville’s heritage and history.

Morrinsville is close to Paeroa and Matamata so take a look at these links to find other quirky fun things to do.
