I arrived in Zurich on a beautiful sunny autumn day. This picture postcard city is wrapped around Lake Zurich and follows the Limmat River.
With a lack of cars in the old part of the city there is a level of calmness and serenity but like all Swiss towns, public transport reigns.
It’s hard to believe Zurich is Switzerland’s largest city, the financial centre and has a population of over 300,00 but perhaps it’s because everything is under control.
