Even with my favourite travel agent, Kerry Graham from the Private Travel Company I still book a lot of travel on-line myself. Travel sites are like robotic travel agents searching for the best deals, but finding the right site can be difficult.

They have undertaken an extensive review of key websites and can point you in the right direction, depending on what you are looking for. I think it’s great and it’ll tell you which site is the best for rental cars, accommodation, flights and more.

Last week I posted this about Kayak, the newest travel site to be launched in New Zealand. They offer some great features including Price Forecast – a tool which tells users whether the flight prices will go up or down, OR Hotel Heat Map, a tool for those who want a hotel in the middle of the action by restaurants ands shops.
